We at eCruizer have a vision that we can help to re-power America and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Our slogan is "Be kind to the earth it's the only one we have." We use recyclable parts when they are available. We are also continuing our research into longer lasting more eco-friendly batteries and motors. eCruizer is also leading the way in adapting solar chargers to our bicycles. Our goal is to be able to recharge the battery on our bicycles without having to plug them into an external power source.

Research on electric bicycles has produced some interesting facts and figures. To operate an electronic bicycle for one hundred miles produces less CO2 in the environment than a human walking that same 100 miles. The energy used to operate an eCruizer one mile is equivalent to an automobile getting approximately 1,500 miles per gallon. There is a break through in motor technology that promises to further increase the distance an electronic bicycle can go by nearly 40%. This would further increase the equivalent automobile mileage to over 2,200 miles per gallon.

Gas powered motor scooters have been quoted as producing 10 times the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere than the average car. In addition they are very loud and often can be heard coming blocks away. eCruizers are virtually silent and produce no CO2 when being ridden.

Riding an electric bicycle can also improve your personal environment. eCruizers are good for you. Studies have shown that people riding an electric bicycle are twice as likely to ride their bicycles as people with pedal only bicycles. The smile factor is also a reason to cruise. People frequently comment that their attitude about commuting improves when riding electronic bicycles.
