Electric bikes offer eco-conscious convenience and fun despite all the times we've looked out our car windows to see some cyclist cut right past the traffic holding us up and draining our gas tanks, most people still don't consider bikes a convenient alternative.
Perhaps it's the notion all that pedaling would leave us sweaty and exhausted by the time we reach our destination. But that isn't the case - at least not for customers of Ecruizers in Sierra Madre and UrbanScooters of South Pasadena, two local businesses selling street-legal electric scooters and bikes.
Ecruizers offers several low-sweat modes of two-wheeled transport, some with the look and feel of scooters and others that at first glance would appear to be traditional bicycles. In fact, they're so similar that you don't need a special license or insurance to operate one, and they can go anywhere traditional bicycles can: roads, bike lanes, college campuses and even on a Metro bike rack.

Earth Day & Family arts Festival! Celebrate all things "Green" with the city of Pasadena and the Armory center for the Arts at the 8th annual Greening the Earth Day & family arts festival from 10-4pm. The Festival is completely free. This annual, festive celebration features music, performances and a variety of art workshops for families and visitors of all ages. There will be booths with hands-on nature and art activities for youth, and exhibits on green building, solar energy, water and energy efficiency and composting. Join us for this very special and fun event. Come on down and share in some sun and fun.

40th Anniversary of Earth Day at the CSUN EARTH FAIR 2010! Earth Fair 2010 will be held on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sierra Lawn. We will be showing off our bikes and discussing the importance and awareness that we bring to the environment with our electric bikes and scooters. We hope to see you there!
We would like to thank the Green expo for allowing us to take part in their event. We met some wonderful people and had a good time. Mavien Bliss rocked the crowd and posed for pics with our bike. Thank you ladies! Vie Le the lead singer of Mavien Bliss wants to roll in on a Pink Glitter eCruizer Rabbit for her future shows. We and Vie will make this happen!
